Agriculture & Fertilisers
Water-soluble fertilisers, secondary and micronutrient salts, EDTA chelates, feed phosphates and minerals, and solvents, emulsifiers and intermediates for fertiliser blenders, micronutrient and agrochemical formulators and animal feed manufacturers across India.
Fertilisers and agro formulations are sold on guaranteed analysis, so the nutrient content, solubility and impurity levels of each raw material show up directly on the label and in the tank. Insoluble residue blocks drippers; the wrong hydrate shifts a blend. We supply nutrient salts, chelates and formulation chemicals with grade, assay and form confirmed against your specification before quoting.

The anatomy of a fertiliser and agro range
Agri-input makers draw on five groups of chemistry, from primary nutrients to the solvents behind crop protection sprays. Each is a raw material we source to your grade.
Primary nutrients
Supply nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium
Water-soluble NPK salts feed fertigation, foliar sprays and specialty blends. Monoammonium and monopotassium phosphate supply phosphorus, potassium nitrate and potassium sulphate supply potassium, and ammonium sulphate adds nitrogen with sulphur. Purity and insoluble content matter most when the product will pass through drip lines.

Secondary nutrients
Calcium, magnesium and sulphur
Calcium nitrate is a fully soluble calcium source for fertigation, magnesium sulphate and magnesium nitrate supply magnesium, and elemental sulphur and sulphates supply sulphur. Magnesium oxide serves soil blends and feed. Each comes in grades for soil application, fertigation or feed, so the form is confirmed before quoting.

Micronutrients
Zinc, boron, iron, manganese, copper and molybdenum
Plants need micronutrients in small amounts, and zinc deficiency is widespread in Indian soils. Sulphates of zinc, manganese, copper and iron are the standard sources for soil and foliar mixtures, borax and boric acid supply boron, and sodium molybdate supplies molybdenum to micronutrient mixtures.

Chelates
Keep metal nutrients soluble and available
EDTA chelates hold zinc, iron, copper or calcium in a stable complex, so the metal stays dissolved in tank mixes and fertigation water instead of precipitating with phosphate or carbonate. They suit foliar sprays, hydroponics and soluble blends; on strongly alkaline soils, iron is usually supplied as a stronger chelate such as EDDHA.

Crop protection
Solvents, emulsifiers and intermediates for actives
Emulsifiable concentrates dissolve the active ingredient in aromatic solvents such as xylene or C9, with emulsifiers that let it disperse when the spray tank is filled with water. Further upstream, chloroacetyl chloride, trichloroacetyl chloride and pyridine are building blocks for herbicide and insecticide actives.

Products buyers ask us for most
01Why use EDTA chelated micronutrients instead of plain metal sulphates?
A chelate holds the metal ion inside a stable organic complex, so it stays dissolved and available where a plain sulphate would precipitate, for example in tank mixes with phosphates or in hard, alkaline water. That suits EDTA chelates to foliar sprays, fertigation and hydroponics. Sulphates carry more metal per kilogram and suit soil application. Fe-EDTA loses stability above about pH 6.5, so stronger chelates such as EDDHA are used for iron on calcareous soils.
02When is potassium sulphate (SOP) used instead of muriate of potash (MOP)?
SOP is chosen when chloride must be kept low. It supplies about 50% K2O plus roughly 18% sulphur, against about 60% K2O in MOP, and has a much lower salt index. That makes it the usual potash source for chloride-sensitive crops such as tobacco, potato and many fruits and vegetables, and for fertigation and foliar grades. MOP remains the standard, more concentrated potash source where chloride is not a concern.
03Which fertilisers can be mixed in the same fertigation stock tank?
Keep calcium apart from phosphates and sulphates. Calcium nitrate mixed with MAP, DAP or MKP forms insoluble calcium phosphate, and with potassium or magnesium sulphate it forms gypsum; both settle out and block drippers. The usual practice is two stock tanks: tank A with calcium nitrate, other nitrates and iron chelate, and tank B with phosphates, sulphates and the other micronutrients. Jar-test any new mix at working strength in your own water first.
04What is the difference between monocalcium and dicalcium phosphate in animal feed?
Both supply phosphorus and calcium, in a different balance and with different solubility. Feed-grade monocalcium phosphate (MCP) contains about 22% phosphorus with a calcium-to-phosphorus ratio near 0.7:1, is largely water-soluble and generally shows higher phosphorus digestibility. Dicalcium phosphate (DCP) carries less phosphorus and more calcium per kilogram and is less water-soluble. Nutritionists choose between them on digestible phosphorus and on how much calcium the diet already contains.
